Dr. Laura Lee Summers is an award-winning professor and senior consultant of adult learning design, leadership coaching, and best practices in professional mentoring. She is also a sought-after speaker on cultivating transformative adult learning practices, well-being, and resilience in P-20 educators. She has authored over 40 publications and has spoken at over 90 events worldwide. In addition to being a skilled program leader and mentor for aspiring professionals, she also dedicates much of her time to creating a culture that propels growth and inspires hope in education.
 

During her eighteen-year tenure at the University of Colorado Denver, Laura served as an associate professor of professional adult learning design and coaching. She was also a senior evaluator at the Evaluation Center where she facilitated focus groups and analyzed qualitative interviews and survey data. Currently, Laura consults with P-12 schools, higher education, non-profits, and professional education organizations. 
 

Laura also spent several years as a P-12 district leader of professional learning and coaching, where she made a continuous effort to measure the impact of professional learning on students’ success across the district.
 

When not being a change agent in today’s professional learning landscape, Laura can be found traveling, writing about lived experiences, and spending quality time with her family.
